Manual High School is a DPS Innovation school where we are committed to doing “whatever it takes to ensure that students stay in school and are prepared for success in college, career and in life.” We believe that all students can learn and are committed to graduating students that are ready to experience success on the next pathways of their lives. We take pride in being T-Bolts and maintain an environment where all T-Bolts are responsible, respected, recognized, rewarded, and made ready for success. No T-Bolt gets left behind! No one falls through the cracks! That is our COMMITMENT TO YOU!
Welcome to Manual High School 2010-2011!
Dear T-Bolt Family,
On behalf of the faculty and staff at Manual High School, I would like to welcome you back for the 2010-2011 school year. For our new and returning families, thank you for allowing us to be a part of your son or daughters learning experience. You’re joining a school full of pride and on the road to becoming one of the finest high schools in the state of Colorado. You are fortunate to be a “Thunderbolt” who will be taught and guided by a committed and caring cadre of adults who choose to be a part of your education. We’re happy you are here!
First of all, I want to let you know how excited and proud I am to be serving as your principal this year. As a Denver native and one who was raised in the Manual community, I am committed to insuring that each student receives the finest education available.
As a school, we have set some ambitious academic goals and know that we can’t do this alone. It will take a commitment from every family to set an expectation that academic success is non-negotiable and we will continue the school’s mission in “doing what it takes to keep students in school, helping them learn, and preparing them for success in college, their careers and life.”
As you may know, the school received a major facelift over the summer. Thanks to the voters of Denver, we now have one of finest athletic fields in the state of Colorado and have made some major improvements inside the building. We look forward to sharing these improvements with you when you register your student for school.
Great opportunities await Manual High School this school year. I am confident this will be an exciting and rewarding year for us. I look forward to meeting each of you as we begin another chapter in educating our future leaders of tomorrow.
With Best Regards,
Joseph Sandoval
Principal
